Investigation
On April 7th someone attempted to post a message on my blog 5 times. My spam filter saved them for me to review before publishing. The commenter used three different names- Jack Holgenschlock, Jack Jack, and J@ck. There were also three different emails used- jackholgen@hushmail.com, jack@hushmail.com, and hh4_jackal@hushmail.com. This was obviously done in an attempt for the comment to make it thru and get published for all to see. The originating IP address was 131.107.0.73. The messages were sent at 11:37:19, 11:37:25, 11:37:51, 11:45:34, and 11:46:33. I have the Apache log files that describes the interaction with their server. The message was a threat that I can only take seriously.
The IP address belongs to a VERY large software company in Seattle area. I contacted the Seattle Police, as well as the software company in hopes that they could help me figure out who left the messages. The software company says they can't help me.
If this was meant as a joke... you are one fucked up individual.
